Arembepe is situated on Coco Road next to Salvador city. There is localized a Project Tamar base a small fishing town from Arembepe and Hippie Village, with it's rustic and natural landscape which became an environmental protection area. Their beaches have got a preserved vegetation and in some spots the reefs forms natural pools.

How to get there:  Threw the Green Line wich runs along the coast and is in great condition (km 30), it is a good choice to avoid the traffic of trucks  through BR-101 crossing the municipal district from Camaçari.

What to see and do :

Visit the Hippie Village : Contact with remains from the 70s movement, interesting native people, getting to know lots of arts, handrafts center and share in a party round a fire in a fall moon night.

Visit the Tamar : guide by monitors with presentation of videos, slides banks, fenced incubation and setting younglet marine turtle free which is made between the month of september and march included being able to adopt a yonglet with the certificate from IBAMA, helping in this manner with, the preservation of that sort. The base also has a store.

What to take: Sun protector, hat, light clothes, besides films and camara to register unforgetable scenes.
What to buy: Handrafts manufactured by the hippies from the village, souvenirs from the Tamar store and little lodges in Arembepe village.
